2012 Olympic Games

London has won the bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games and the Paralympic Olympic Games. The Summer Games will be held in East London.

Many of the Historic Buildings in the diverse cultural and historic city of London will be used. The setting of the 2012 Olympic Games will be in the heart of London.

Some of the venues to be used will be the New Wembly Stadium, with its 90,000 capacity will be used for the Football events.

Wimbledon will be used as the home of the Tennis Competitions.

The Home of Cricket, Lords Cricket Ground will be used for the Archery events.

The Horse Guards Parade will be the venue for the beach vollyball.

Regents Park will feature the softball and baseball.

Hyde Park will be the venue for the triathlon cycling and a host of music concerts and evening entertainment events.

The Millenium Dome and the Excell Centre will also be used.

The New Olympic Park with its new 80,000 state of the art stadium, four indoor areana, will also feather the bmx and track events and also hocke, as well as the Olypmic Village for all contestants and delegates. The train time to Central London will be seven minutes.

The Paralympic Games will also use all these venues.
